About Rathod Sons

Rathod Sons was founded in the year 1977, nearly 40 years ago by the visionary entrepreneur Shri Bastimal Jain Rathod and his wife Smt. Vimala Jain, with the aim to enable Vizagites and people from surrounding regions to find kitchen utensils and other utilities under one roof. With time, their vision gave rise to multiple stores within the city, establishing their identity firmly. Currently the stores are managed by their sons Shri Amit Jain Rathod and Shri Sumit Jain Rathod.

Sarvalya, a division of Rathod Divine Stores, was the brainchild of Shri Amit Jain Rathod, with the intention to bring forth an all-inclusive for best quality Pooja requirements, thus bridging one’s spiritual and religious needs.

Sarvalaya, the one-stop puja store, caters to three segments: families, pandits and temple committees

Families and individuals can walk in at our spacious store at Allipuram, Vizag and browse through different Pooja Samagri, puja idols, puja clothing etc for all their puja or vratam – related needs.

Pundits can visit us and take our help for arranging all Puja Samagri and other essentials as well, as per the requirements of their Yajman or customers.

Temple committees and associations can contact us as well – we supply all Puja essentials like automated temple bells, temple hundis, temple aarthi items etc, as well as Pooja Samagri on a continuing basis as per their requirements and preferences.

Temple Gopura Kalasam

These Gopura Kalasam are inspired from the kalasam or kalash forms we generally spot at the top of the temple towers. Resembling an inverted pot, these kalasam signify prosperity and well-being, and are key feature of a Puja. You can find kalasam in metal or stone variants.

Hindu God Idols

At Sarvalaya, we put in all efforts to make your puja prayers heard, which is why you will find a wide range of God statues and idols made from a variety of metals like Copper, Bronze, alloys, steel etc as well as marble, stone and granite.

Teertha Kalasam, Kumbakalasam Etc

Teertha Kalasam or Kumbha Kalasha plays an important role in every Puja or Homam, wherein the kalasha is filled with holy water and covered with a red cloth. Sometimes, coconut leaves or mango leaves are placed on the top of the kalasam, and at other times a holy thread is tied around it.

Lantern Box

Lighting lamps in the Puja area is considered quite auspicious and we offer a wide variety of lamps and lanterns at Sarvalaya to give your Puja room a special feel. Lanterns also prevent lamps from being exhausted due to sudden wind, and adds a distinct glow to the Puja area.

Soolam,Vel & Bell

Soolam or Trishul, is usually a trident held by Lord Shiva, signifying creation and destruction as facets of the same object. It is held by other gods and goddesses as well. Vel is a spear-shaped weapon usually held by Lord Murugan. Soolam and Vel are usually made of copper and brass metals.Bells are a prominent feature of most religious monuments and buildings, whether it be Hindu Temples, Churches or Buddhist Temples. Usually made of brass, these bells feature a shell shaped structure with a tongue inside.
